FILM FABRIK PRAHA: USSR PARTY

El Nino gone in the morning, the team focuses on a hard working day to forget its sorrow. But lunch brings more sad news: today will be our last plate of super spicy fries! Tomorrow, Dee and Daryl embark on a new journey to the land of the rising sun.
As it were not enough, we will also lose Marion R, Angela and Starki who are going back home on Sunday.
No need to say that the team worked even harder in the afternoon...

So when it's time to wrap up Audun's film, the team is more than ready to relieve the tension and celebrate Audun's "Tupolev" with a party to remember.

The crew is not disapointed when they come back to school.
With Klara's help, Veronika prepared a Russian theme party of which our cam'rad Lenin would be proud.
USSR and Czech flags, Lenin, Stalin, and Khrushchev statues, hammers and sikles await our good workers.

While beer and vodka drench our thirst, Veronika's mum amazing goulash warms our stomachs and our hearts. Laughs arise, faces get red and the party is ON!

The night is full of surprises. We each receive a wonderful 'Moleskine' notebook with a sticker designed by Leoma. No more excuses to postpone the writing of FilmFabrik 4 screenplays!
Angela gives an inspired speech and a great reading of her last book, while Leoma continues with more emotional words and a beautiful song.
Starki plays the cold Islandic guy with a speech full of reason, but there is no fooling us, he is restraining himself from crying as most of us our doing at that point.
Andrea/Anya plays a few songs followed by a choir of FilmFabrik's top musicians.

Around that time, the Vodka starts to attack my brain, so my memory gets a little confused... but there is definitly more laughing, more singing, more drinking. Maybe also a few of those very deep and serious conversations that only alcohol can start...

The crew slowly starts to go to bed, but a small team stays up until the sun rises over the school...
