FILM FABRIK PRAHA: DAY FOUR

Everyone and everything rolls into motion. Some script writers take time to revise scripts given feedback from participants. Daryl and DeDe begin their first large meal at the MeetFactory. The sky shifts from rain to cloud-spotted blue.

In the afternoon, Andrea’s set arrives at the MeetFactory, eager for assembly and painting. Diddi and Armande explore camera tech. Audun writes. PH casts. Later, everyone gathers to a group meeting where we hear synopses of the five films, as well as their current statuses of pre-shooting development.

Armande describes a film of flight, night, and displacement. Agnar’s circular script details the disorienting and difficult journey toward salvation. Set in one room which she brought in model-form, Andrea’s film isolates its protagonist within a conundrum of his own design. PH promises hallucination and music. Audun shares social commentary on the world of long-term psychiatric treatment.

Post-meeting, groups splinter to continue the work. We then eat a wonderful dinner of rice and potato au gratin. Late evening, more work as PH successfully casts his roles and Audun runs through his script with his actors.
